IF the Delhi Police decides to scan the footage for so called 'students' who were hitting the policemen and indulging in property destruction and stone pelting, and press charges, you will spend many years running around polic stations and courts.

Ask those who participated in farmer's protest and now have cases against them. Your so called leaders and sponsors will be sitting in their a/c rooms and won't give two hoots about you. Its your life which will be ruined.

Watched almost 100 videos from today’s march, and I couldn’t spot Saurav or Abhijeet Dipke leading the students.

As I said earlier, Saurav busy at Nadda ji Residence,and Abhijeet was nowhere to be seen. None of the other spokespersons who usually make loud speeches on the ground were leading either.

In the end, it was the students who faced the police action. What’s most disappointing is that I hardly saw anyone keeping the focus on education the very issue the protest was supposed to be about.

I just hope the youth and the people of India can distinguish between a movement centered on students’ concerns and one that gets diverted into politics! 🙏🏻

Okay, agreed, you want to do a peaceful protest, and you believe it is a peaceful protest. But what if rogue elements from the protest attack the police, and they resort to a lathicharge and tear gas to restore order, triggering a stampede? Who will be responsible for the children then?

It will be your responsibility, a direct result of your poor parenting and failure to assess the risk of what you are doing, or worse, knowing the risk and ignoring it anyway. You will be responsible, but since you guys have no insight, I know you will surely blame the state.

What if Sonam Wangchuk went on another hunger strike, but this time demanding the abolition of the reservation?

Would he get support from celebrities? Would Instagram influencers run campaigns urging the govt to listen to him? Not at all. If anything, he might be physically attacked, and the govt would arrest him for provoking public sentiment and inciting riots. Nobody would call the govt 'oppressive' that time.

Essentially, neither his hunger strike nor his life is what truly matters; only the narrative matters. All of this emotional appeal to rally behind him is not for his sake, but for the sake of the narrative. His supposedly good image among the youth is merely a smokescreen to obscure the agenda driving him forward.

Such kind of support is always transactional. The moment the asset stops serving the ideological goals of the narrative-creators, his moral immunity will be revoked, his 'good image' will be dismantled overnight, and the very same crowd that idolises him would abandon him.
