@JQuinn8723@FootySquares Top 5 league teams are loaded into UCL and win plenty of games- that's where the points are built up. A PL team going on a run in the Confrence isn't the coefficient difference maker ffs. Adding points to a Comp they have multiple teams in would obviously offset one in Confrence
@sked21 Do you remember how you lost the league last season? None of yous seem to care about the game against Celtic at all which is up first.
Just foaming at the mouth for a game against the manager and players who took you there. Utterly bizarre.
🗣️ "Pleased for the manager, it's a good opportunity for him..."
Lawrence Shankland is pleased he will be reunited with Derek McInnes at Rangers when he returns from the World Cup.
Referees, like anyone, should not have to suffer threats or intimidation.
But this hasn't just happened in a scottish oasis of calm and tranquility where refs have been supported and lauded.
There has been a form of aggressive lobbying from the top of one football club ever since the Dougie McDonald incident, this set a tone and agenda that their fanbase carried relentlessly without counter or repercussion.
The referee strike and why it happened has been erased from history. That should have been a watershed moment - it wasn't
They continued as they started to see results from the pressure, and successive CEOs / chairman / managers of Celtic maintained the tone and pressure - explicit and implicit. And now here we are.
Rangers have occasionally spoke up when they feel the need, but nothing as concerted and pernicious as Celtic's 15yr campaign.
This statement tells a story much higher than Beaton got threats because of Wednesday night, but most don't want to tell it.
@RangersRWB @Kor3yEmm Souttar meets that criteria and was the worst player on the park when he came on. Will we get Lyall Cameron back from loan and get Scott Wright back? No one noticed that the genuinely good homegrown talents are basically all out of our price range?
@cjb1990_@1872MB Martin said the opposite of this in his post match when we last played at Fir Park. Quite naive to believe Rohl is delivering the exact same message to the players in private and in a public press conference? Terrible night but can't believe we are already hounding him out.
Sky Sports pushing some bizarre narrative that we’re taking a long time to take our set pieces…
Something that every single domestic away team does at Ibrox, and has done for the last 30 years, but has never been mentioned once.
Very strange…
you can go back and observe that season 1 of stranger things actually had kinda decent, dark brooding true detective vibes. then each subsequent season, it basically morphed into marvel avengers universe slop. this kind of slow, boiling frog pot bait and switch is everywhere now.
