Love after 25 is different. You’re not looking for sparks. You’re looking for stability, kindness and shared goals. You’ve outgrown games and butterflies. You’re craving peace, emotional safety, and someone whose future aligns with yours.
i highly recommend you find yourself a clingy(healthy) lovey dovey partner who's super excited about you. life is too short to spend it with someone who act like showing love is a chore.
When people don't consider you in the same way you consider them, let them go. There's actually so many people in the world that can match your energy and love you the way you love.
When I vent, I tell both sides. I never just tell my side cause I always wanna know if l'm tripping or not. I'm not venting for you to be on my side. I'm venting for another point of view.
I'm teaching myself to not exaggerate my place in people’s lives. No matter how good my intentions, no matter how much they mean to me. I'm learning that sometimes you don't mean to people what they mean to you & that's okay.
At this point in my life, it doesn't matter how much I love you, how long l've known you, how much we've experienced together. If I feel a way about your actions, I'm gracefully removing myself from your life. I can't change anyone and I don't want to. I'm noticing now more than ever how people move and there's just certain things I no longer want to put my energy into. People do exactly what they want regardless of your feelings, advice or opinions. Some people don't notice your impact until your presence is no longer at their convenience
i want someone in my life that misses me throughout the day, wants to talk to me, wants to hear how my day is going, wants to video chat when we both are free just to see each other.
My level of detachment will have you thinking I never gave a fuck. But it's just when I'm done with it, I'm really done. That's it. I know when things no longer serve it’s purpose or never did.
