Today's lesson: stop wasting energy on things that don't matter. just build.

Technical rabbit hole of the day:

Same repo. Same files. Different SHA256 on Mac vs Linux. Spent 2 hours thinking it was a sorting bug.

It wasn't. My editor was saving files with \r\n on Mac. Linux hashes \n.
Same file, different hash, broken determinism guarantee.

One line fix. Two hours to find it. That's the job.

Day 4 of building @CrooviOfficial 's CrooFx:

Working on deterministic repo scanning with pathlib

Handling resolve(), absolute vs relative paths, and symlink traversal so the scanner cannot escape the repository root.

Without strict path normalization, a scanner can accidentally traverse the entire filesystem.

Most founders spend months validating ideas.

Opened Claude. Added Apify connector.
Uploaded all my startup docs.

Then typed one prompt:

Claude scraped thousands of real Reddit threads.
Real complaints. Real pain points. Real language.

Not surveys. Not assumptions.

I was trying to solve.

Is it 100% accurate? No.
Is it good enough to stop overthinking
and start building? Absolutely.

Stop waiting for perfect validation.

You just need to know how to ask.
