Services were longer then and Oyedepo still wore his black oversized suits. Not now that he wears fitted white suit. To his credit, Oyedepo was partly the reason I can recite scriptures offhand. My dad was the other reason. I liked how Otedepo used to recite scriptures offhand, so I juat memorised whatever scripture he cited till I was reciting them with him. My dad used to make me memorised scriptures by giving my scriptures to memorised for the day.

Also, house fellowship were more fun because they were not on every compound. It could be one in a street, so you had up to 30 people and their kids. As kids we were doing fastest to open the scriptural passages during fellowship. I know because my house was a fellowship centre
