It’s taken nearly 170 years, but for the first time female doctors make up more than 50% of the UK’s medical register.

This is a huge change that should be celebrated. However sexism is still an issue within medicine, with 9% of female doctors reporting unwelcome sexual comments or advances causing embarrassment, distress or offence, compared with 4% of men.

The NHS must embrace flexible ways of working, and tackle harassment and sexism head on.

This is unrelated to the Banky’s news because I do not know it’s authenticity. However, a hill I will die on is that you do not cheat on who you love wholeheartedly.

You may have wholeheartedly loved this person at some point, but when you cheat, it means several things. First, you no longer respect this person, or you have taken for granted that the person would put up with that disrespect. Second, you no longer respect the sanctity of your union. Third, you no longer care if third parties disrespect you, your partner, and your union. And fourth, and most importantly, you no longer love this person wholeheartedly.
