Instead of being honest with the nation last summer over Southport, bureaucrat Starmer visited the scene for five minutes, threw some flowers down and then partied at some crass drinks reception in Downing Street for Labour donors on the very same evening. Today he called Southport one of the worst atrocities this country has ever suffered. He clearly didn’t think that at the time.

Starmer claims he withheld key information from the public over fears he would prejudice a trial. He and Number 10 allowed the media to paint the killer as an innocent choir boy from the Welsh valleys. He smeared angry Britons as far right extremists. He rushed to Mosques and bunged them tens of millions of pounds of public money to make sure THEY felt safe. Then white working class Brits were thrown in prison, some for simply watching the riots from the sidelines. One man has since taken his own life in prison.

Not an ounce of leadership or humanity displayed, no attempt to calm or reassure or fill the information vacuum - just the actions of a pen pushing technocrat whose cushy life in North London circles means he doesn’t get it. No matter how much he wants to pose with a beer or sport an England shirt, or talk about his toolmaking father, he doesn’t get Britain. He doesn’t get the everyday man and woman of this country. And that’s why he continually lets the country down with decisions that even his own supporters find bizarre.

He didn’t understand the anger over Southport when he allowed the riots to spill over and he doesn’t get it now. Boris Johnson famously nicknamed him the Human Bollard, and you can see why.

He should resign.

It happened again. An Afghan migrant just stabbed a 2 y/o child and a 41 y/o man to death in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

I got emotional filming this, because nothing ever changes in Europe and I don’t know what to say anymore. How much longer are we going to sit by and watch our kids get killed?
