columbine happened 2 months before I was born. I was 2 when 9/11 happened. we’ve been fighting pointless wars my entire life. covid took away my early 20s. my tax dollars are funding genocide. our generation really has endured a lot. I hate when people try to say we have it easy
I'm still processing the 67 undocumented immigrants that were intentionally left out of the memorial because "they technically didnt exist".. most of them from Mexico and Central America. RIP to them too.
They are never going to give you $9,000 to stay home with your kids. Just like you never got your DOGE check, tariff refund, cheaper groceries, $2 gas, a healthcare plan, or 600% off prescriptions.

I’m always reminded how insane it is to have kids when I wake up hungover at 1pm and reach for my vape to scroll ig and I see my hg been up since 7am on a Saturday at her kids’ fucking soccer practice like holy shit what a life
We used to know this. My grandmother tells of her MIL coming to immediately take over the household. All the cooking, cleaning, and caring for the older kids were taken off my grandmother’s plate so she can rest and recover with the baby.
I’m not sure when we got it flipped that other people need time with the brand new infant at the expense of the mother who just gave birth to him/her.
