My issue with the power franchise: outside of the first season of power and last episode of raising Kanan is that power is primarily designed to make you watch the next episode.
As entertainment television, Power was good: addictive pacing, memorable characters, great casting, strong chemistry, cliffhangers, cultural relevance, and a protagonist you wanted to keep watching.
The first season of power and raising Kanan contained prestige character drama. Which makes you reconsider the episode you just watched. This is included in breaking bad, the wire and sopranos
