It's happening... That cost is real. The token savings are real. The speed improvement is real. My harness is *reliably* doing its work and coordinating. Not just coding. I've generalized *the entire under-the-hood* language and semantics to be *domain-agnostic*. Months of work.

Now *this* is a prototype. I'm running Rehex at its lowest level, as if an AI agent would. I'm using pen and paper, pretending to be an orchestrating agent. It's cheap and fast. Tests a few critical questions and hopefully save me a ton of headaches.

If this works, it’ll solve so many issues, especially around gaining any meaningful provisioned/sandboxed access to frontier models. Tried launching Claude/Gemini via GCP/Azure and it’s a complete nightmare (unless you presumably have an enterprise account with Google/Microsoft).

Well, I’ve been on a #AI side quest. I’m back at developing my coding agent. After listening to so many interviews with the founder of Claude Code, I’ve got a clear angle now — my coding agent will excel at 6-month old cheaper models.

My coding agent will not beat Claude and CC, but will it sure deliver some great results for a fraction of the price and speed. What’s meta about all of this — I’m specifically using Claude/Opus to (help?) write it. I feel like this is the Wendy’s to the McDonalds…
