When it comes to tipping, this woman NAILED it π
She says to be PROUD of hitting βno tipβ when the counter worker just stares at you and makes YOU start the conversation. Nor am I tipping if I open a mobile app an order where the people ringing you out also make your food and get paid hourly.
Youβre getting PAID to be there. Say hi. Smile. Do the bare minimum. AI robots would at least be polite.
I tip VERY well for real table/bar service where people actually work for it. But this self-checkout disguised as a human? Hard pass.
Tipping culture is completely broken.
Where do you draw the line β counter service, coffee runs, takeout?
Nobody can ever gaslight me into thinking Iβm a bad person. I have my ways and my days, but Iβm solid, and my love is real and genuine every step of the way.
"Don't reply fast", "don't show you care" , "don't be a homebody", "don't always be available". I'm grown. If I have to play these kinds of games for someone to be interested in me, then I'm no longer interested. I operate best when I can be my authentic self.
