One thing this work has taught me is that timing really is everything. Sometimes the best move isn’t doing more—it’s knowing when to move.

Sometimes being “lucky” is really just paying attention before everyone else does. A lot of opportunities give you clues before they ever show up.

Most opportunities don’t come out of nowhere. The signs were usually there—you just had to be paying attention. Public affairs is a lot like life: preparation matters before the opportunity shows up.
