As we experience this heat, let it remind us of the overwhelming conditions of the Day of Judgement.
If this brief spell of heat is difficult, then what will it be like on the Day of Judgement, when the sun will be brought only a mile above our heads and the Day itself will last for 50,000 years?
Let this heatwave motivate us to strive to be among the seven categories of people who will be granted the shade of Allah on the Day of Judgement, when there will be no shade except His shade.
Fuḍayl Ibn ʿiyāḍ رحمه الله said:
“By Allāh, if you lose hope in people to the point where you don't want anything from them, Allah will give you everything you want.”
- Jami al Ulum wal-Hikam (462)
Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz wrote to his governors:
“To proceed, if your power tempts you to wrong the people, then remember Allah’s power over you.”
[Tārīkh Dimishq: 45/202]
It was said to Luqmăn (‘alayhi salām): “How did you become so wise?” He replied: ‘I do not ask for what I don’t need, and I don’t speak about what doesn’t concern me”.

The Sopore incident in which a teacher is believed to have molested a girl is buzzing on the internet like fire. He, his families reputation & even the teaching professions integrity are not being spared.
Not at all trying to downplay the severity of a heinous crime like molestation, but let's let the crime be proved first. Outrage and allegations aren't always convictions.
I still remember the case from Pakistan that happened 2 years before, in which a college girl alleged that a young Urdu professor had molested her. The professor saw this on a news channel everywhere. He cried that he was innocent, but no one listened to him. With in a week, his world shattered & even wife left him. After seeing all this, he couldn't bear the humiliation & finally ended his life, but before that, he wrote a last note, and that was, "I am not guilty. I did nothing wrong. My suicide is proof. I request all not to remember me by this name. Respect my family. I was not guilty". Later, investigation reports, as well as the girl, revealed that the professor was innocent.
Thess Facebook news portals & journalists are not serving the truth but selling the diginity & pain by making everything, without taking into consideration it's impact, to look like a sensation to gain views. Unfortunately, for them, every tragedy becomes content & every tear becomes a tool for manipulation. This an absolute mockery of humanitarian work.
Who gave anyone the authority to sensationalise criminal allegations to a level where the collective consciousness of society gets disappointed with the very fabric of our society & believes that nothing good remains in the society?
What if, tomorrow, the investigation reveals different story?
The non-local principal of DPS Baramulla Shashwata Shiva disrespected Islamic symbols following which the honorable Kashmiri children started protesting & forced him to apologize.
