ada temen gue yang kerja di divisi admin. tiap kali mau convert pdf atau merge file, dia selalu bilang:

“mending bayar yang berbayar aja. takut data penting bocor di tool gratis.”🙃🙃🥲

padahal dia sendiri sering upload dokumen internal ke tool yang sama tanpa mikir panjang. ironisnya, yang dia ragukan justru sudah punya sertifikasi iso/iec 27001:2022.

sertifikat itu dikeluarkan bureau veritas, lembaga internasional yang cukup ketat. isinya jelas:
- sistem manajemen keamanan informasi, cybersecurity, dan privacy protection sudah diaudit
- mencakup web services, rest api, desktop app, mobile app, electronic signature, cloud storage, plugins, sampai proses development-nya
- sertifikat aktif sampai november 2026

artinya, ilovepdf tidak main-main soal keamanan data. mereka sudah melalui proses audit formal, bukan sekadar klaim marketing.

yang sering dilupakan orang:
- “gratis” tidak selalu berarti “sembarangan”
- perusahaan yang punya iso 27001 biasanya sudah investasi besar di infrastruktur keamanan
- ketakutan berlebihan justru bikin orang lebih rentan pakai tool yang nggak jelas asal-usulnya

kalian masih ragu pakai tool gratis yang sudah bersertifikasi internasional, atau lebih percaya yang berbayar meski belum tentu lebih aman?
