🇲🇱 #Mali Update 10/07: FAMa/Africa Corps forces were spotted in the centre of Anéfis.

FLA/JNIM have probably fled to join up with reinforcements and regroup around the town.

The second Fama convoy is reported to have arrived at the Anéfis base this night. More to come

🇲🇱 #Mali The outcome of the battle will likely depend on the ability of FAMa and Africa Corps to sustain an air bridge to the base until reinforcements can arrive.

However, this remains a challenging option, with previous attempts reportedly resulting in heavy losses.

There is no "intensification" of the #AfrikaKorps operations in #Mali. They've always carried out several tasks per day and are effective at what they do. The only thing that intensified is their PR campaign on social networks.
There's also definitely no ongoing offensive.

#Mali Interestingly, both JNIM and FLA released their statements, confirming joint attacks on Gao and Kidal.

FLA is willing to collaborate with any group who's rival to the junta.

Both JNIM and FLA have been mild to the Russians 🇷🇺, a signal of maturity still very controversial

#Mali As I thought, Washington isn't going along with this. The US were recently engaged in a diplomatic rapprochement with the junta and a shift in the status quo would be a major blow to these efforts.
