Woozi officially released What Kind of Future two years ago today. What Kind of Future means a lot to him that he said he would sing this song once in his entire life, but ended up he sang it multiple times and released the studio version to fulfill his promise, as a gift. He wrote this in its album introduction of WKOF, “I will never forget that smile filled with love, in any future.” This song carries a very deep meaning when seen from various sides and perspectives. It can be about pain, regret and longing for the love one that has been lost. It can be someone feeling confused and so much in pain while trying to read the future, it can be about despair, or about a conversation between the self in the past and the present who are facing a future that feels blurry and uncertain.
