The Hong Kong security law marks the end of one country, two systems. It will be the end of Hong Kong as we know it unless the international community steps up. https://t.co/G5SGcXveSf
#HongKongers: on the day when your freedoms have been taken away, autonomy destroyed & you enter a new time of darkness & fear, let’s hold on to the hope in these words from Chris Patten 23 years ago today👇
I wrote them for you as a reminder today
Hold on to hope. ❤️
First time in #HK's history: #hongkongers are warned that their flags, banners, slogans or other behaviours during demonstrations or protests may be arrested on charges of "secession" or "subversion of state power" under #NationalSecurityLaw, which was once only found in #China.
Hong Kong police are bracing for a day of anti-Beijing protests. Here's the latest:
- Protests planned near LegCo building
- Police clear roadblocks
- Protests oppose China-backed legislation, including #NationalAnthem, security laws

The forehead of the girl was hit by Hong Kong police but the blood was rash out from the nose .However, the density of the blood is not same with the blood with normal wounds .Therefore it is not normal blood from hit,it is a brain plasma!!!!
that's happened in 2016....
Excellent news about possible #China sanctions. US must stand up to Chinese aggression - in #HongKong and everywhere it threatens American security and jobs
This note was posted on the gates of a 'yellow' shop in Hong Kong:

Striking (protesting) on the 27th May
We'll see about 28th May: If I am still alive we will open

#HongKongers, every day - without fail - I'm practicing my traditional Chinese characters
Even when it is madly busy, as it is now, I take a bit of time out to do this - as a small gesture of solidarity with you
Here is what I learned today - from the ❤️
