📖DISCOVERY📖
Over the past few years, I've realised the work I've enjoyed most was never really about technology alone. It was about the people it's meant to serve.
I've worked across product design, education, and healthcare. As a teaching assistant, representing my university on innovation projects, and supporting people in a hospital environment. Different environments, same lesson: every person experiences the world differently.
Working in schools made that impossible to ignore. Young adults didn't always open up when asked directly how they were feeling. The real conversations happened while they were drawing, building something, or just walking together. Trust wasn't given; it was built. Often it started with a small test, a boundary pushed, a reaction watched, before they decided they felt safe enough to be themselves.
I've since noticed the same pattern in adults, just quieter. A colleague who never says they're struggling but starts missing small things. A friend who brushes off "how are you," then opens up an hour later, off topic. Adults test trust too, through silence, timing, the spaces between conversations.
🤔That changed the question I was asking. Less "how do we build better technology," more "how can technology better support the people using it?"
✨It changed how I think about design, too. Good digital products don't just help people complete tasks; they help people feel confident, understood, supported. In healthcare, those moments matter most. Mental health, accessibility, patient care, public health — thoughtful design can lower stress and build trust in ways a feature list never will.
That's the direction I've decided to move my work toward. To me, mental health is part of healthcare. Accessibility and inclusive design aren't things you add at the end. They're what shape a product from the first sketch during ideation.
🙂I don't post often. I'd like to change that — starting with what I'm learning as I keep exploring the healthcare space.
💡One thing I'm certain of: the technology that matters most starts with understanding people, not with the people understanding it.

✨🧑🏾💻⏳Recovery taught me that transformation is never instant ,it’s intentional. You break, reassess, rebuild stronger.
That same mindset is driving digital transformation today. Not just new tools, but new ways of thinking, working, and adapting
Silence wasn’t absence, it was preparation. I will achieve great things this year🙏.
Happy New Year & a blissful one ahead ✨
