A few parting advices from my Ustādh before we graduated:

1. Stay connected with your kitābs:
Stay connected with your teachers and remain attached to the institution that nurtured you. Do not allow yourself to become disconnected from your teachers or your studies

5. Let your akhlāq reflect your knowledge.
What does akhlāq teach you? It teaches you to care for others and to put their needs into consideration. Do not allow your knowledge to become a means of taking away from your ʿamal.

We need to be careful when reading "la" in the Qur'an.

If you stretch it (لا - laa), it means no.
If you don't stretch it(لَ - La) , it means definitely.

For example:
لا يعلمون: They don't know.
لَيَعْلَمُوْنَ: They definitely know.

We need to let go of the culture of praying Fajr/Isha in our pyjamas. Dressing well is a part of Salah.
