@GerAmbTLV stated in a matter of fact way like discussing the weather. Perpetrator not named.
Is the gravity of the situation on each side, in your view, proportional to the strength of your statements with regards to each?
Thanks.
@GerAmbTLV Hi Steffen,
On the one side, you talk about "a brutal terror attack by Hamas" (perpetrator named), expression of pain and sympathy for those killed, and the 59 hostages still held.
On the other hand, you mention in passing "Gaza a field of ruins. tens of thousands killed"
@TameeOliveFern Can you imagine a Palestinian hostage in an israeli prison negotiating his outfit with his captor while being analy raped with a baton?
The fact that Israel internally publishes a guide to escape war crimes prosecution is amusing enough. Let me share below some excerpts which are even more hilarious 🤣

@dmagillwrite@ZACK21353751@aziz0nomics This is a lie. Palestinians were never offered a state. By Rabin's own admission, what the Palestians were offered in Oslo ammounted to "less than a state".
🧵 A comical encounter with Zionist soldiers at one of the many IOF roadblocks in the occupied West Bank (their purpose is maintain Jewish-only traffic on West Bank main roads).
Read if you want to see what 10 minutes with illiterate genocidal killers feels like. Only 10 minutes.
Thread: My first-hand experience with Israeli kidnapping. Forget about Palestine for a second, this is about Lebanon. In June 1982, Israel started bombing Lebanon. In the middle-class Muslim neighborhood where I lived, Israeli fighter jets started dropping concussion bombs which
You’re actually allowed to do as many war crimes as you want if it leads to the freeing of captives. (Except for the time that Hamas killed and kidnapped hundreds of people leading to the freeing of 240 Palestinian captives. That was fucked up.)
Here’s what you’re missing:
• Arrest those who led this genocidal war under the terms of the ICC arrest warrants
• Rebuild every fucking building YOU sent bombs to destroy
• Endorse the UNSC and UNGA resolutions for Palestinians to be given their right of return under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
• Declare a binding commitment to recognition of a Palestinian state
In short:
• Justice
• Rebuilding what you destroyed
• Basic Human Rights
• Self determination
Sound far-fetched? Too much to ask? Please, tell me which of the points above anyone has the fucking right to deprive any other person of, anywhere in this world.
Because this doesn’t end until Palestine is free.
Yuval Harari just published a piece on Zionism in the @washingtonpost. He argues:
"Nothing in this Zionist idea implies that Jews are superior to others, whether they are Greeks or Poles — or Palestinians." @harari_yuval
A short🧵.
@derJamesJackson The line of thinking that a free Palestine is not possible without the destruction of Israel is so bizzare. The preservation of Israel must be ensured at all costs, and Palestians should there4 simply accept apartheid as the only viable alternative, the untermesch that they are
