It’s scary to see videos of the stop cop city rally circulating through pro-Israel media calling for the harassment and expulsion of those students. These threats of future harm to those students is part of the ongoing attempt to suppress voices & uphold Israel’s genocide in Gaza

Appalled as an alum that @EmoryUniversity is condemning pro-Palestine support during a peaceful Stop Cop City rally (APD is very connected to the IDF) as antisemitic rhetoric and placing employees on leave (Dr. Abeer Abou-Yabis) for their pro-Palestine views as well.

Today, around 150 Emory Uni students + faculty marched on campus, into admin building to voice demands. Slogans and speeches connected Cop City to the apartheid system in Israel by way of the infamous GILEE program. "From Atlanta to Palestine, no cop cities anywhere."
