I loved President Trump’s speech at the rally. I think he was self deprecating and honoring Charlie when he juxtaposed his own hatred for enemies with Kirk’s forgiveness. I think he was admitting that Kirk was a better man.
I also think the civil leaders job isn’t to forgive evil doers but to punish them. Mrs. Kirk did right by offering forgiveness. President Trump did right by threatening the wicked.
