This is precisely why dogs have no place in our society and those who wish to care for them should take them home and live with them happily forever.
In video: A women attacked in Baramulla
Almost a month ago, a Muslim women was brutally lynched to death. She was forced to drink urine when she asked for water, all while she was on Ramadan fast. Now, the perpetrator of this heinous crime was given bail and received a heroic welcome. Is this not the sign of a deeply rotten society?
Terrible news from Tehran: I just heard that the Iranian authorities today arrested the great human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh. It's not known where she has been taken. Nasrin has been mentioned as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize for her unflinching courage and moral leadership. I hope thought leaders worldwide will call on the Iranian authorities to release this brave woman who represents the best of Iran. Her husband, Reza Khandan, is already in prison serving a sentence for advocating for women's rights. Iran should release them -- and all political prisoners. It was wrong for the Shah to imprison people for peaceful expression of political views, and it's wrong for the Islamic Republic to do so today.
NEW | THE KASHMIR NOTEBOOK
Why is Kashmir often referred to as “Iran-e-Saghir” (Little Iran)? What explains the strong emotional response in Kashmir to the ongoing conflict in West Asia?
Professor Noor Ahmed Baba traces these connections in our latest episode. Hosted by @GowharGeelani.

This incident is from Uttar Pradesh, India.
Akshay was going on his two-wheeler. Three Muslim men were walking past. It was a wide road and Akshay could have driven past them but he deliberately stopped his two-wheeler behind them and started honking. Then, without any provocation, Akshay started abusing and slapping the three men.
As they started walking away, he followed them to a distance and continued beating and abusing them in full public view. No one came to their rescue.
This brazen act proves how unprovoked attacks on minorities have been normalised in the country in the last few years. With the culprits getting away, more and more people are encouraged to indulge in such acts.
@ravish_journo यह गलगोटिया के टॉपर है

BJP-Propaganda News agency is quick to quote tweets by BJP leaders. A 17-year-old Kashmiri shawl seller brutally assaulted in Uttarakhand by the Right wing, sustains head injury. Chief Minister of the state tweets. Here @smitaprakash totally ignored reporting the incident and tweet by Chief Minister.
When leaders normalize sin and supporters choose silence, both stand exposed. Silence is not neutrality, It is complicity. Allah warns clearly: ‘Do not even go near zina. It is an abomination and an evil path’ (Qur’an 17:32). And He commands this Ummah to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong (Qur’an 3:104).
You can’t weaponize Islam during elections, target Hindus and BJP for polarization and then cry ‘private life’ when un-Islamic conduct walks into official rooms. Power doesn’t give immunity from accountability.
Faith is not a campaign prop. And spare the drama about trolls.
