Not only did the football world lose Diogo Jota today, but also the Palestinian footballer captain Muhannad al Lilli who has been KILLED in Israeli bombing of Al Maghazi refugee camp in gaza with 100 others since the midnight in gaza
It’s so hard to find joy in anything anymore.
You scroll your feed and see constant vanity, only to scroll further and be confronted by the vicious slaughter of our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
You walk into an ICE facility and see people caged like animals eating unrecognizable food, only to come out and see others going about their days in fine dining establishments not too far away.
Your own children laugh and play with their endless toys and that beautiful twinkle in their eyes that penetrate deeply into the heart of a parent, while other children starve and stare at you through their screens piercing right through your soul.
May Allah forgive us for our collective failure, and uplift those we’ve consistently failed.
Yep that’s it, keep em coming. Good confidence boost for Pakistan.
Still a lot of recovering to do though. India’s first batting partnership where great 👍 👏
