First time I finished the 2 The Fixer books, I wanted a third book.

Upon rereading them (finished The Long Game about an hour or so ago)... @jenlynnbarnes we need a third book. It's set up so perfectly 😭

There seems to be disdain (used semi loosely) for any Nigerian writer who writes stories that 'cannot happen in Nigeria'. You talk about your creative license and it's almost as though...

And I've stopped setting my stories anywhere else. I'll keep writing what I want to read/watch. If only my eyes and those of the few friends I have that read my works get to see them... then so be it.

In my mind, these stories/sequences of events could happen in Nigeria.

The recent discourse about the whole "prison uniform" in Blood Sisters 2 has sorta given me answers to this.

Restrictions to filmmaking abound, and I'm sure if 'EFCC' or the prison uniform cannot be used freely, recreating an Aso Rock set would be very likely frowned upon.

Thought about this recently...

If one wanted to write a show like Scandal or House of Cards, but like Nigerian...

Would that fly? Not the concepts. The fact that the Oval Office/White House make very obvious appearances. Would we be able to do something like that with Aso Rock?

Can't believe I stayed up to watch that Eleven All Stars game.

The England boys were treating it like the Sidemen Charity Match (Deji and Vikk upfront for 15 minutes???).

And don't get me started on the refereeing.

France side was good. Feel bad for Tbjzl.
