That's quite a self defeating argument the moment you include "OBCs" in it along with SCTs.
How?
Well, it was told that the "purpose" of reservation was to serve some kind of justice to oppressed SCTs by making way for them in representation. OBCs of today were just "privileged" upper castes 35 years ago whose influence & representation, along with today's leftover upper castes, were to be curtailed to make way for SCTs but all of a sudden a magical wand swings and large number of these street dominant landowning upper castes get declared "backward" overnight and not only that somehow these very erstwhile upper castes become "brothers in oppression" to SCTs and now they become eligible reservations too.
So India which had majority of dominant oppressor upper castes 35 years ago becomes majority of dominated oppressed castes overnight after implementation of Mandal commission.
All for what?
For state resources.
Not justice, not morality.
Resources.
That's called political maneuvering and yes it creates casteism against those leftover upper castes as the policy of reservation sees them as natural enemies who are to be kept out of it.

Do you really think all 200 of those monsters who showed up at the crematorium were foreign infiltrators, Pakistani terrorists, or JKLF members? These are the questions that make many Kashmiri Muslims very uncomfortable. The moment you raise these issues, especially when they present a narrative portraying their community as victims, they label you an Islamophobe or resort to similar accusations.

I have seen all kinds of Islamists, but the tribe in Kashmir is the craftiest. Many of them pretend to be atheists in private, yet their public behaviour and political leanings tell a completely different story. Very hard to take their words at face value.
