If you are at @IpswichTown FC please bear in mind all the meat is Halal slaughtered. A follower has been chasing them up.

"You have confirmed that all your meat is halal. In the knowledge that Halal is more expensive than the non-halal equivalent, it’s more likely to be detrimental to the animals welfare.

"As it is dedicated to Allah at the time of slaughter, it’s imposes Islam on all who consume it. It is discriminatory in that only a male Muslim can carry out the slaughter, female Muslims and non-Muslims are considered unclean and unfit to carry out the slaughter, restricting employment opportunities for groups.

"Sikhs are not permitted to eat any religious slaughter and you have not informed them on your menus. It is not a sin for Muslims to eat non-halal meat and poultry (see Koran Surah 2173)

"Please let me know if you believe any of these 6 points to be factually incorrect, and if you do, please forward your evidence to support your claims.

"The most recent census tells us that the Muslim population of Ipswich is 3.9%. With this knowledge in mind, I’d like to know what verifiable steps you have taken to check if any of the meat and poultry you have served, has come from un-stunned animals?

"Can you please let me know what steps you took in the decision making process which led to you operating with a bias which favours Muslims at the expense of all others, which will be of great concern to many of your customers."
