My name is Jack. Tried to venmo my friend (also named Jack). Accidentally Venmo a random dude (also also named Jack). Random Jack sent me my money back and told me I have the wrong Jack. Moral of the Story? Jack’s freaking rock. We fly together.
I don’t want to hear anyone say the Lord doesn’t work miracles. I’ve seen no less than 30 people in wheelchairs at the airport be blessed with the ability to walk without issue. Hallelujah!
@ClayTravis Why should the power 4 conferences get an auto bid? That would give 8-5 Duke an auto bid. Cut the auto bids. Conferences are meaningless in the modern era.
@YahooSports@DanWolken Not a single mention of any school that is actually threatening to “freeze out.” Only school mentioned is Texas, who is threatening to never schedule a good non-conference opponent again because they got left out (tantrum?). Great journalism guys
@JoshPateCFB Number of teams is not the issue. If anything we have too many (should be 8). The issue is handing out automatic bids (participation trophies) to conferences and the committee making up rankings as it goes. Keep at 12. Give us BCS rankings. Send committee to the sun.
@ItzLiveee@EndZnLeprechaun Ya. Georgia Football: The type of program you want your daughters/sons to be a part of. They’ve had more dudes arrested in the last 3 years than there are days in a month.
@ESPNBooger Literally no point in bowl games (non-playoffs) other than to make networks money. Same thing with the weekly committee rankings/process that just pulled the rug on the Irish.
@dannykanell Absolutely not. The ACC and Big 12 are not serious football conferences. The SEC/B1G are not conferences, but 20 team conglomerates where teams play so few common opponents.
@Brady_Quinn@_willcompton Gotta go full computer rankings. Rankings cannot be determined by networks and Athletic Directors that have direct financial stakes in these decisions.
@DoubleVodkaDon If Ohio State lost week 1 to Indiana by 3 and Alabama week 2 by 1 and then rattled off 10 straight, they would be ranked higher than an Indiana team finishing 10-2 with losses to Minnesota and Northwestern
@AriWasserman Wrong. They would be in the same pool as Alabama, ND, BYU, Miami. Would probably be sitting at 11, given that they had ugly wins against Kentucky/MSU and haven’t looked good most of season. So essentially in exact same place regardless of them playing OSU
@ChrisGordy Texas would not be comfortably in if they had scheduled a cupcake. They lost to Florida and needed OT to beat Kentucky and Mississippi State. In other wins they never really put it all together. When you only have a 12 game sample size, it’s not just wins. It’s how you win.
