Lanham led the nation in average punt distance, while Williams reset the all-time yards and touchdown marks for Pirates running backs!!

The Pirates capture a hard-fought opening night victory at McMurry University! Graydon Thompson led the offense with 117 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while the defense created a crucial fumble recovered for a touchdown by Maurion Williams-Jack. The Pirates return home next Saturday against University of Puget Sound at 7 p.m.
