grief is love continuing after it has lost its address.

it is reaching for the phone when something funny happens, buying the fruit they liked before remembering nobody at home eats it anymore, and pausing when a form asks for the name you still cannot write without feeling the whole room change. people think grief lives in anniversaries. most days, it waits inside ordinary things that forgot the person is gone.
