Husband and I once had a drink outside the Pride of Spitalfields, by brick lane. BMW parked out front, engine running. Two lowlifes sat in front doing balloons the entire time, clearly intending to drive around while under the influence.

Called the police, gave full description, they say they’ll dispatch someone. Half an hour later, after numerous canisters fall to the ground, the two drive off, speeding immediately. 20 minutes after that, police sirens are heard. Too late.
