@rachelswilhelm@wendellkmusic Rachel, we totally rocked this song when we used to lead together @TruroAnglican. You were born to sing, sing, sing this song, song, song. Can't wait to hear you cover this on your next album. It's time. It's past time.
"There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!" (Psalm 4:6). God answers that prayer by shining his light upon us in the face of Jesus Christ.
"Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress." (Psalm 4:1) It's good to remember God's past faithfulness in past distress, to remind us that he's faithful in our current distress.
"But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him." (Psalm 4:3) How wonderful to know that we are not only set apart *by* the Lord, but "for" the Lord.
Thank you, God, for the gift of the life of @timkellernyc. Thank you for the sure and certain hope (and now Tim's reality!) of heaven. Thank you for the resurrection. I can't wait to meet Tim Keller in heaven one day.
We're hiring! Truro has begun a prayerful search for our next Director of Family Ministries (full-time). Click here for more info: https://t.co/jBG2O1suKL
Since October, I've been preaching through Paul's letter to the Philippians. The series is called "First Things First". The link is here, if you're interested! https://t.co/u56iRtgghJ
@tommykeene So many possibilities. The first two that come to mind: 1. What we think as happy accidents are actually God’s master brushstrokes. 2. Through sanctification, God “beats the devil out of” us.
@FatherNate@ChurchLead Hey Nathan. It’s an old post. It’s just a simple attempt to help music leaders think through musical and lyrical flow. For the edification of the people in the pews. God bless you and your ministry.
