Hausa is a language that have turned to lingua franca of northern Nigeria infact in recent studies says it is now number one in speakers in Africa.

Most astonishing is the conspiracy of dividing Hausa and Fulani being promoted by non Hausa speakers thinking that they can divide them, now the people that called them self Hausa Fulani are those that mainly interfused with Fulani in the north west of Nigeria through intermarriages , most of them have Fulani genes but can only speak Hausa.
