I just saw my friend and coursemate on 𝐔𝐁𝐀 bank’s social media page.

And I'm like… Is this not Mary? this same Mary from my same UniUyo, my same department, Comm Art 017?

One part of me felt like screaming, ACAS GINGER!
[If you did Comm Art in university of uyo, you know exactly what I mean.]HAHA

On the contrary, the other side of me thought, “Anything that is related to UBA and you don't think twice before you do it? Them fit drag you oh.” 😄 Ah!

So I paused and took a breath of fresh air cause men! It is really beautiful seeing people you know winning.

Everyone who knows me knows I have a culture of celebrating beautiful things and beautiful people. Yeay?

But there’s a big, special, spicy difference when I hype celebrities or people I see doing beautiful things from afar, compared to when it concerns people I actually know.

Like People I know in real life well well? What are you telling me? I will do it with my full chest.

And this is not just anybody.

Mary is one person I have genuinely seen support me on this my social media journey.

She follows me on Facebook and leaves really warm comments about my work.

I drop a post on LinkedIn? I’ll see Mary there.

I was even shocked earlier this year when I saw her comment on my TikTok and I was like, “Ah ah, Mary again?”

So this win? We cannot be low-key about it.

I read the story she posted about how she never imagined this, and how the push from the people close to her helped her get here, and honestly, it was so beautiful to see.
