I've been using the new Siri on Mac by way of the Terminal Command workaround (still not off the waitlist). My take so far: Apple nailed it. It's awesome for a beta 1. (Hopefully this gets me off the waitlist but it is true).
A day later and I feel even more confident in this: Siri is going to be the AI that most consumers end up using most of the time (if they have an iPhone). It's the AI you have with you, with access to everything. And yes, it's finally good enough. https://t.co/kRnfcIZPdE
The next generation of Apple Intelligence powers an entirely new Siri: making the apps and experiences you rely on across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro more personal and helpful than ever.
Some new iOS 27 tidbits: Notifications have a redesigned effect when arriving due to Notification Center gesture moving to the top left side; Find My gets a visual redesign; Clean Up in Photos gets improved; Many underlying security improvements. https://t.co/sOCWFnVL2u
This right here is exactly what I felt when I tried switching my main phone from iPhone to Android last year.
The apps on Android are so bad they don’t even feel like they’re made for your phone.
Plus many apps on Android simply lack a lot of features compared to iOS.
For example, on WhatsApp on iOS, I can quickly swipe left on a message in a group chat to see which members have received and/or read my message. On Android, it takes a long press and 2 additional taps to access the same info. This was such a deal breaker for me who’s in a lot of group chats.
