The Devoured by the Revolution series.
My next series is coming today, and in short order. Communism is making a resurgence. I’m seeing increasing calls for “revolution”.
Let’s take a trip down the memory lane of nightmares and educate the masses on what happens to revolutionaries.
Every revolution has its useful fanatics.
The students who scream first. The street fighters who break bones. The intellectuals who justify blood. The true believers who think the party will reward purity once power is seized.
They NEVER understand the bargain.
A revolution needs chaos while it is weak. Once it wins, chaos becomes a rival. The same people once praised as the vanguard become undisciplined, embarrassing, dangerous, or inconvenient.
Then the party remembers what it was built to do.
It purges.
This series is about the people who carried revolutions into power and were later crushed by the thing they worshiped.
The revolution does not love its children.
It eats them first.
I aim to show you what’s coming, and that right soon.
The reason why the Argonath, one of the most breathtaking scenes in The Lord of the Rings, looks so realistic is that it was created using miniatures instead of CGI. One scene to rule them all.
A teenage girl came home from school and asked her mother,
“Is it true what Rani told me, Mom?”
“What’s that?” her mother asked.
“That babies are born from the same place where boys stick their privates?” the daughter said.
“Yes, honey!” her mother replied, relieved that her daughter was raising the topic so she wouldn’t have to explain it later.
“But if that’s true, when I have a baby,” the teenager replied, “won’t my teeth get knocked out?”
