The news is grim & accurate, verified information from the area hit by the cloud burst is slow in arriving. All possible resources are being mobilised from within & beyond J&K to manage the rescue operations. I’m not going to be speaking to channels or news agencies. I unequivocally condemn the brutal killing of Mohd Parvez, a young resident of Niki Tawi, who lost his life in a shocking act of police firing in Jammu. This is not just a death, it is a daylight execution that raises serious questions about the conduct and intent of the forces. Targeting innocent civilians with such impunity is unacceptable in any democratic society. I demand an urgent, time-bound investigation and exemplary punishment for those responsible. My heartfelt condolences and unwavering support to the bereaved family in this hour of grief. @CM_JnK@OmarAbdullah@JavedRanaa@JKNC_@JmuKmrPolice
