In English, we say, "You erased the memory of us."
In Poetry, we say, "In the twinkle of an eye, I vanished from your dreams, like a spirit lost in the hereafter; you no longer
remember what life was like during the days of our happily ever after."
9 realities of being a writer no one really talks about...
(read this if you're quietly writing and figuring it out as you go):
1. Your most meaningful writing might be the one you never publish. Not every piece has to go out into the world. Some exist just to heal you.
8. Your best ideas come when you’re already committed to something else. And it makes finishing anything feel like a burden and betrayal
9. You’re more likely to burn out heavily than to quit entirely. Because giving up permanently feels worse than getting exhausted temporarily.
In English, we say, "You walked away from us."
In Poetry, we say, "The echoes of your footsteps still haunt me at ungodly hours; and the goodbye you never said still taunts me like a cynical ghost after midnight."
