I miss the days when you could learn about something new in tech which is NOT just a new AI mode release.
Every two weeks there is a new model. Obviously, it is capable more than what the one before could do. Who would have guessed otherwise?
But instead of interesting tweets or articles I only see everyone for 2-3 days after each model drop talk about the new model. And showing off the "awesome" stuff they've created which will be trashed five seconds later...
And the other days discussion about which model is best. That this one is overhyped and the other one is the cool stuff. Only for the card being reshuffled the following week.
I miss the old days. So much things I was able to learn from others.

I need your help: The @stateoflaravel is going spectacular BAD this year. After 2 weeks we don't even have 1k participants.
Please share it (again) if you can.
And please subscribe to be notified the next years. Currently, there are only 300 on the list for the next years...
Seeing the same in SMB segment. While a few power users learn to use Claude beyond a glorified Google search, building AI into the underlying tools and flows has a far greater effect without behavioral change.
The State Of Laravel 2026 survey has started!
You can now participate to identify how the ecosystem changed over the past 12 months! This year with a few AI questions: How are others using AI?

Marco @inlytechnology bringing that retro 90s vibe to @LaraconEU with analog camera. And of course part of that experience is that we sadly lost some pictures...
At least we got one with the one and only @taylorotwell

Core is the layer that makes a business run as one. There is so much more going on behind the scenes.
It connects your systems, automates workflows, and gives your team, your clients, and AI one place to operate.
See it implemented for real businesses: https://t.co/3vUXCAuNcB
We were so impressed by the @laravelphp Cloud CLI by @joetannenbaum that we built our own internal one: Core CLI.
It lets us share internal tooling + proxy sensitive actions through our Core backend so devs don’t need local secrets.
Meet our Core CLI:
And then tons of other candy like:
release / update / cli:release / cli:update / deploy / doctor / domains (cloud) / status / sync / upgrade-agent…
But the point is: one entrypoint for the whole team, for everything we repeatedly do.
