Hey #MedTwitter, I'm a doctor who's passionate about getting more docs involved in tech. I've written a book designed to teach doctors, students and HCWs how to code quickly. I've released the first chapter on my blog. Let me know what you think! https://t.co/r2qvbvdk9S
@MustafaSultan another classic is flattery - βI noticed youβre an expert in xyz, what would your advice be to a hardworking student looking to get into your field?β
@PropaneFitness @ChickensAndSam @the_coopertron Thank you for the kind words Yusef! Looking to come across the pond next year, we should catch up for a protein shake π
@Ryan_L_K@dafyddloughran@drake_PRS@MustafaSultan@Code_Med_@DoctorCode2 If you wanted to do this yourself, could use the techniques described in Code Blue (ie. use phpmailer library). To make the task recurring, you could either set it up as a cronjob on a server or a scheduled task on your computer. A paid solution would be more efficient though
I recently read "Product Led Growth" by Wes Bush. He taught me that if you want users to keep coming back to your app, you need to craft a powerful onboarding experience.
Here's a little snippet of the tutorial sequence I built for Olog, my shift-tracking app for doctors:
@AnaestheticsApp Wow that is very interesting. I suspect itβs got something to do with my continuous deployment pipeline (Iβm using Fastlane). Both of my projects are built from the same Flutter project so I donβt see any good for there to be a 10x increase in bundle size.

After launching Olog 13 weeks ago, it's now generating a small amount of revenue.
The journey from the first line of code to having paying customers housed many mistakes that I'd never like to make again
@DoctorCode2 When learning, for me it was really wrapping my head around the build method and the widget lifecycle⦠Once I understood this, it increased the quality of things I could build with Flutter
Lesson Learned: Rome wasn't built in a day. If you're dealing with large organisations, you don't need a working prototype. Start your discussions early.
