🙏 Jai Jagannath
The response to our Tree Plantation Drive on 5th July has been truly encouraging.
52 citizens have now registered through https://t.co/x17x8bM3aU to volunteer with JYODHA.
To every volunteer & well wisher who has welcomed this initiative, thank you so very much.
Good morning 😊
In the last week of May, a few ordinary citizens came together with a simple thought.
On 1st June, that thought found its public identity through https://t.co/yeYwBNf1Bt website
On 5th July, we took our first small step with a tree plantation drive under our mission:
#ସବୁଜଓଡ଼ିଶା_ସଜୀବଓଡ଼ିଶା_ସହଭାଗୀଓଡ଼ିଶା
The response from people across Odisha has been encouraging. Many have asked us to expand this citizen participation movement to different districts.
We are grateful.
But before we expand, we believe there is a larger conversation that Odisha needs.
No movement can survive only through discussions on social media. At some point, every concern must become participation.
No organisation can transform an entire state on its own. Nor should citizens wait for someone else to arrive and solve problems that belong to all of us.
Real change begins when we stop asking, "Who will do it?" and start asking, "What can I do?"
That is the idea behind JYODHA.
Not to create followers.
Not to build a large organisation overnight.
But to nurture a culture where every citizen feels responsible for the place they call home.
If that culture takes root, every village, every town and every city in #Odisha will have its own JYODHAs.
That is why we will continue to move forward in baby steps.
Strong movements are not built by speed.
They are built by trust, participation and the right intent.
Jai Jagannath. 🙏
JYODHA begins with Jagannath 🙏
Every meaningful journey begins with blessings.
Our Tree Plantation Drive began with a simple puja before the first sapling was planted. 🌱

That is the idea behind Jagannath Youth Odisha Human Welfare Activists (JYODHA).
A movement built on participation, trust and shared responsibility.
If this idea speaks to you, we warmly invite you to join us.

Whether someone contributes time, knowledge, professional skills, cash or kind is entirely their choice.
What matters is that every contribution reaches the very cause for which it is intended.
Manoranjan Das is a Sr. Manager with an EPC company delivering infrastructure projects in Odisha. Yesterday, he wasn't managing projects.
While most volunteers stopped @ 1 or 2 saplings, Manoranjan planted 10.
That's commitment. #ସବୁଜଓଡ଼ିଶାସଜୀବଓଡ଼ିଶାସହଭାଗୀଓଡ଼ିଶା#Volunteer_Odisha
"I'm here not as a BMC official, but as a volunteer." 🌱
With a smile, Shri Parmananda Khatei wore a JYODHA T-shirt like every other volunteer, planted a sapling and promised to care for it until it grows. That's the spirit. 💚

Not every volunteer starts with JYODHA.
Some are already serving society.
Soumya Ranjan Das, founder of a Bhubaneswar-based NGO, joined our Tree Plantation Drive & added one more sapling 🌱 (Named: Surya) to Odisha's future.

Meet Puspanjali Parija. (Tax Consultant)
Her home in Gothapatana had no power since last night.
Still, the first thing she chose to do this morning was volunteer at the JYODHA Tree Plantation Drive.
Commitment isn't loud.
It quietly shows up. 🌱

Meet Siddharth, 25 (Named plant: Jaga)
Usually wakes up around 9:00 and leaves for office @ 10:30 AM. 😄
But for JYODHA, he spent 2 days designing our Tshirt, collecting saplings & somehow reported at 8:00 AM today.
Respect! 🌱
