@ozzyetomi @FhayFey I actually thought about this yesterday when I passed a bunch of kids and they didn’t greet, I used to sing Goodmorning like a broken record when I was a kid and I still greet now though.

He’s got it all wrong.

He’s waiting for a “click” but what that means is he’s lacking clarity. And if you have doubt after all that time and life together (5 kids!) then the problem is you aren’t man enough to tell her she isn’t the one. But then it begs the question: why are you having kids with women who aren’t the one you want to marry?

Usually it’s because the man loves her in a way and respects her because he acknowledges she’s a good woman. But she’s not the right good woman for him—but he’s too insecure and scared to let her go. He’s afraid he’s not going to find another good woman like her.

Plus he’s anticipating the pain of breaking up with her knowing she is in love with him & he doesn’t want to hurt her. Newsflash, it’s too late. Then there’s the kids…

At this point he should probably just marry her and make it work. But he’d have to go all in and commit to cherishing her.

If he couldn’t do that, he needs to action a breakup with dignity for his children and their mum as his highest priority. But looking like a douche and being single again as a dad of 5 won’t be all it’s cracked up to be.

Eventually he’ll find a woman he’s passionate about and wants to marry, and then she’ll have to navigate the chaos of a blended family of 5 from his ex girlfriend. What a lot of unnecessary drama.
