1 John 1:8-9 - LIVING IN DENIAL
8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
---------------------
God's acceptable righteousness is the one He gives to those who have transparently repented and forsaken their sins accepting that Christ's death was a price for their sins and Christ's resurrection a triumph for their justification.
Denying your sins because a preacher told you that you can't sin when you are born again is covering it up. That's hypocrisy hiding behind doctrine.
Sin is sin. There is no separate sin for "righteous" ppl and another for the unbelieving.
Hebrews 9:27 - AN APPOINTMENT UNTO ALL MEN
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
----+----++++----
Think about your life.
Mark 9:47-48 - HELL FIRE ๐ฅ IS A REAL PLACE
[47]And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
[48]Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
---------------------------
Hell is a real place. It's not a metaphor. Christ described it's characteristics in His teachings. Hell fire was not prepared for man. But those who live their lives under the authority of and submission to the devil and his angels will join them in hell
Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
1 Timothy 4:1-2- THE PICTURE OF THE CHURCH TODAY!
[1]Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
[2]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron...
-----------
This picture of the church today was painted about 2000 years ago. The details are astonishing.
The counsel of God is in:
Jude 1:3
".....earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
Psalms 109:6-9 -NOT FOR CHRIST'S FOLLOWERS
[6]Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
[7]When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
[8]Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
[9]Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
-------+--------++
The lines above are recorded in the Psalms as prayers. Followers of Christ do not utter such prayers against anyone under any circumstance.
CHRIST TAUGHT US IN Luke 6:27-28 TO:
27.....Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
1 Chronicles 4:10 - FIGHT THAT CONDITION WITH PRAYERS
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
-+------------+------++
There is nothing carnal about asking God to prosper you. Don't let yourself be gaslighted by those who are faithless enough to accept that GOD delights in poverty and wretchedness
John 8:32 - AT CROSSROADS? READ WHAT CHRIST SAID:
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
------------+++
Many people are at crossroads about matters of eternity. Am I in the right religion? Do I have assurance of my soul being saved after leaving the earth at death? What if my preachers are wrong? These questions come to the mind when a Greater than yourself is challenging you to embrace the Truth.
John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Embrace The Truth today and be set free.
Isaiah 1:18 - THE INVITATION YOU MUST NEVER REFUSE
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
--------------+--
GOD knows you are faced with problems - spiritual, financial, material and sometimes physiological.
He has given you a great invitation that you mustn't refuse. You are the agendum of the meeting
The Creator of all is calling to come and reason together to address your sin problems and put it out of the way.
Will you accept or reject the great invitation?
Revelation 20:12 - THE BOOK WRITTEN ABOUT YOU
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
----------
God has a book that contains your name. Everything you have ever is written there. If you have rejected Christ as your personal LORD and Saviour, all the evil you have done are written there, even the ones you stopped doing. This book is waiting for your death to witness against you when God, The Creator of all judges you.
But those who are wise have accepted Christ as their personal LORD and Saviour. Because of this, all the evil they did and repented of have been blotted out of the book and forgotten by God.
Romans 8:1
[1]There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Acts 17:11 MY PASTOR SAID.."..."
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
-------------
So many of us firmly believe that it's excusable in God's judgement if you did wrong because you followed what your pastor said. " But my pastor said it's ok to do that".
So sorry. In God's judgement, the only thing that matters is His Word. Anything outside of God's Word will not make the cut.
You see why the Bereans were noble. They were not ready to follow the sweet tongue of any preacher, blackmailer, theologian or philosopher without checking up with God's Word.
When last did you check up what you've been hearing with God's Word.
Genesis 47:29
And the time drew nigh that Israel must die......
--------------------
There is a time to be born and a time to die. How often do you reflect on your life and destination after death.
What matters most at death is not your burial or will. Your relationship with God matters most.
There opportunity now to repent and ask God to mend our relationship with Him through Christ The Mediator between God and us.
Psalms 85:11 FALSEHOOD-
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
------------------------
Those who mix their religion, preaching, teaching with falsehood- false miracles, false testimony, false prophecy, false interpretation, false lifestyle etc... and do so in the name of service to God are in grave danger.
Only truth attract God's righteousness.
WHY IS THERE NO THANK YOU LINE IN THE LORD'S PRAYER?
--------------
So Christ gave us a model prayer, a pattern to follow, not recite.
Then you notice there is no line in that prayer giving thanks to God. Why?
God always leads by example. When we render a service, we should see it as a duty and expect no 'thanks'.
Even though giving of thanks should be from a grateful heart and not by compulsion, we must form the attitude of gratitude to God and our fellow men.
Luke 10:41-42 ONE THING IS NEEDFUL
[41]And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
[42]But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
-----------------------
Ever since our nature and world became corrupted due to sin, satan has created many things to distract us from the ONE THING THAT IS NEEDFUL: OUR INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THE CREATOR.
At some point in time we shall abandon all earthly attainments and cling into the one thing the one thing that is needful. An eternity of misery, pain and sorrows await those who neglected it.
Return to The Creator today. Obtain the one that is needful for all eternity. The Creator has appointed Christ as The Mediator between Him and us. We must pass through Christ to reconcile with God.
Ask Christ Jesus to reconcile you with The Creator now.
2 Timothy 1:7 THE SPIRIT OF LOVE, POWER AND A SOUND MIND
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
------------------
God's plan of salvation is not to produce weaklings who will be subjected to satanic oppression and manipulation. We are not product of excuses why men must sin. Men who have zero experience of the true grace of God which denies ungodliness and worldly lists.
If you are still enveloped in sin with no possibility of getting out, you are not yet saved. Go back to Christ and tell Him your true self. Forget church titles.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORKS OF THE FLESH AND WORKS OF DARKNESS?
Galatians 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness...
Romans 13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
---------------------------
The difference lies in the source of the sin.
When a natural being is lured into sin based on his fallen nature, that's works of the flesh.
But when an individual cooperates with the powers of darkness to consciously sin against God, that's works of darkness
1 Timothy 1:15 REMEMBERING OUR SIN PAST
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
------------------------------
God promised to not remember our sins anymore once we are forgiven.
However as humans the memory of sinful days longer. Satan would want to reignite the guilt and condemnationn.
We must stand upon God's promise of total forgiveness and forgetfulness.
Memory of the past may alert us to be more watchful and prayerful
Acts 27:24-25- SHOULD A CHRISTIAN
FACE DIFFICULTY?
[24]Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
[25]Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
---------------
Paul was an apostle, a fervent one. The Jews had tried to kill him for preaching salvation from sin through Christ. He was rescued by Roman soldiers. When he wasn't satisfied with the direction of his trial in the hands of the Roman Governor, he appealed to Caeser the Emperor in Rome.
That was the beginning of a treacherous journey in the which the devil deployed a tempest, some heartless Roman soldiers and a viper to end Paul's life.
But God was watching and sent an angel to reassure him.
Today, many believe that an authentic Christian must not suffer but proclaim decrees, pronounce prophecies and bind the devil to demonstrate being called by God. You are just setting up yourself for disappointment and frustration.
God's ways are not our ways. Cheers
WHY DOES SIN PERSIST? Two Reasons:
Psalms 103:10
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Ecclesiastes 8:11
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
-------------------
No matter the level of suffering people undergo, it's never in proportion to our sins. Nothing compares to the fire ๐ฅ of Hell (the eternal abode of evil spirits and the souls who lived in disobedience to God and rejection of Christ's offer of salvation
1 Peter 2:24
[24]Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
-----------------+++
Too many sicknesses and diseases trouble mankind. Some are declared incurable. Some are terminal.
God who made and gave us our body has promised to heal us. Yet we do not cast our faith on Him.
Our adversary the devil has convinced us that we are not qualified for God's goodness.
God is waiting for us to be reconciled with Him His Chief Ambassadors Christ who keeps inviting us 'come now and let us reason together '. He says.
