@denniskioko These people hujiona better humans than us. Case argument ni simple give us good road signage and reasonable fines. Wana behave nikama Hatutaki good roads and all we are asking is a fair system not extortion.
An episode in the grand tour, Clarkson, May, and Richard did this test with a bentley. Argument was speed limit was set in the old days because of braking distance of a car was crucial.
@Joshuajkariuki@njorodan86@patric_githaiga Tumeskia super car owner who also has a license from group of school driving school. Anybody whose been on the road understands errors happen. Lakini ju mnaji hold of higher standards than everybody else si we are sorry.
@Joshuajkariuki@njorodan86@patric_githaiga Sasa nani amesema huna gari yawa? I mean there are people who have gone through 8-4-4 but they are still dumb. Anyway whatever makes you sleep at night amini hio.
@Joshuajkariuki@njorodan86@patric_githaiga Instant fines make sense because man is to error. Expecting a person to be perfect is just nuts. punishing small errors that extremely makes people evade the rule. But then again you are looking at it from a passenger point of view. Can't blame you.
@njorodan86@patric_githaiga Ni sawa mzee. We are not arguing against speeding we are arguing on justifiable penalties. Anyway good thing about time is if we get the grace we all live long enough to see this was just day light robbery.
@everest_254@denniskioko I gave a justification tatu city has clear road signs almost everywhere . Also it is private property. You cannot blindly apply same methodologies to different scenarios.
@njorodan86@patric_githaiga Statistical data inasema hapo survey kwa highway kuna a lot of accidents? Again it is not about flying it is about realistic speed limits, proper and clear road signs and reasonable charges. 10k is just robbery. If I do 90 in a 50 zone and someone else 160 the fine is the same.
@njorodan86@patric_githaiga We naye Unasema let us follow the rules instead of explaining some situations which are actually experienced on the roads. Napita survey 2am but sifai kupita 50. Make it make sense.
@everest_254@denniskioko Also do you think it is fair to charge such prices? If I do 160km/h on 50km/h and someone else does 90km/h we are all charged the same. Don't you see it is illogical? Also doing 50 on a highway defeats the purpose of it being called a highway.
@everest_254@denniskioko OK. Where are the road signs to show such? You can't fine extreme amounts but offer terrible services. For instance tatu city has clear and visible signs both sides that is not the case in most of these roads.
But then niulize. People that sit behind these rules and implementations, don't they think about themselves in similar situations? Policy makers act like those policies don't affect them or their loved ones.
This is a key issue, you don't introduce speed monitoring by jumping to one of the world's strictest implementation without the supporting infrastructure.
Unless maybe your goal is not road safety but to make money from road fines by catching motorists by surprise
@VictorNyakund10 This idea looks great on paper till you do it. Paper work is insane alafu tax man naye akiamua kukutesa atakutesa. It is usually not worth it unless it is a proper high end car.
