In today’s world, especially in digital assets, losing your entire fortune can happen in the blink of an eye. That is why protecting your assets is your own responsibility.
With ITL, we strongly encourage every holder to follow basic security practices. Consider staking with trusted validators in the future to strengthen the network while earning rewards, and for long term storage, use reputable hardware wallets such as Ledger or Trezor to keep your private keys offline.
Please remember that @itl_fdn cannot recover lost or stolen assets. ITL is a decentralized asset, which means only you control your wallet and your private keys. If you lose access or your assets are stolen, no foundation, team, or third party can reverse the transaction or restore your funds.
Protect your keys. Protect your assets. Your security starts with you.
Every Great Success Is Built on a Set of Uncompromising Rules
There is one thing that is certain: nothing is ever certain.
Success is uncertain. Failure is uncertain as well. However, throughout that journey, we must have a set of uncompromising rules as the foundation for long-term success, and @itl_fdn is no exception.
As Chairman of @itl_fdn, I have established the following rules:
1. In terms of our overall direction, every member of the InterLink Foundation must always respect our users. We do not treat them merely as customers, but as companions on this journey. We must never hide the truth, and we will never tolerate any behavior that seeks personal gain at the expense of the community.
2. Working hard is mandatory. There is no room for showing off, seeking attention, or attending meaningless events. The core of every innovation and every breakthrough must come from hard work.
3. ITL is an asset that belongs to everyone. It does not belong to the Foundation, InterLink Labs, the core team, ambassadors, or any individual. No single person has the right to control its future. Every decision must always put the interests of InterLink above any personal interest.
4. The mission of ITL is not only to build one of the world’s leading payment and Real World Asset ecosystems, but also to democratize digital asset ownership for everyone around the world, including one billion users.
Ten million users may seem like a huge milestone, but it is not when our vision is one billion users. It represents only 1% of our ultimate goal.
Therefore, on the occasion of celebrating 10 million Linkers, I have the following requests:
1. @scott_itl, please focus on accelerating the verification process, with particular priority given to Level 3 verification and migration during this period, especially throughout this week and next week as we celebrate the 10 million users milestone.
2. @inter_link Labs, please focus on completing the buyback mechanism after the proposal has been approved by @itl_fdn. The mechanism should be completed before August 6, 2026.
3. Regarding the ITL acquired through the buyback, the final decision belongs to the InterLink Labs core team. However, I encourage you to organize a special appreciation event for the first 10 million Linkers who believed in and supported InterLink from the beginning.
In the near future, several major partnership announcements between @itl_fdn and leading organizations will be revealed. Our goal is to connect InterLink more deeply with the global financial ecosystem. At the same time, our dApps will continue to develop rapidly, allowing InterLink to become one of the most active and effective foundations in the world today.
Shout out to Scott! I've seen a significant increase in the number of Linkers getting verified over the past two days. After my post, the verification process has clearly accelerated, thanks to Scott's team. Great work, and let's keep the momentum going!
InterLink’s Early Vision for NIST-Standardized Post-Quantum Cryptography
Within the next five years, whether a digital asset is truly secure or not will have a much clearer answer. It will no longer be something complicated or difficult to understand. Ultimately, it will come down to one critical factor: whether it is quantum-resistant according to NIST standards.
Speaking of NIST, most InterLink users are probably already familiar with it. Our Human AI Model is currently ranked #51 globally, and NIST is one of the most important institutions under the U.S. Department of Commerce responsible for developing and evaluating standards related to post-quantum cryptography.
The rapid development of AI models today is raising serious concerns about their ability to discover and exploit vulnerabilities. At the same time, advances in quantum computing are bringing the potential threat of breaking today's cryptographic algorithms to a level of concern greater than ever before.
Recent experiments and research from Google have demonstrated that what was once considered practically impossible, using quantum computing to threaten the cryptographic security underlying networks such as Bitcoin, is increasingly becoming a risk that cannot simply be ignored.
This means that digital assets and blockchain networks that do not actively research, prepare for, and implement post-quantum cryptographic protection could eventually face serious security risks. In a future where sufficiently powerful quantum computers exist, vulnerabilities in existing cryptographic systems could potentially be exploited by attackers, putting assets stored on those networks at risk.
InterLink Foundation has been conducting research into digital signatures and cryptographic algorithms, and we have already achieved several important early results.
Our research includes mechanisms that allow new private keys to be generated from an existing seed phrase. At the same time, through the Address Alias mechanism, users can retain their existing wallet addresses together with all associated tokens and NFTs while migrating to a new cryptographic security architecture.
InterLink Foundation is also implementing SLH-DSA-SHA2-128s (FIPS 205) within IRC smart contracts to provide an additional layer of post-quantum protection for vaults and high-value digital assets.
We are currently conducting these experiments on the InterLink Taj Mahal Testnet, and so far, our experimental implementations have successfully passed the NIST-based simulation tests we are conducting.
Our goal is to fully integrate this architecture into the InterLink Open Mainnet in 2027, bringing InterLink closer to becoming one of the world's most secure blockchain networks built around post-quantum cryptographic standards established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
The future of digital asset security is becoming increasingly clear.
In the quantum era, security will not only be about protecting your private key. It will be about whether the cryptography protecting that key was built to survive quantum computing.
This is quite a sensible direction from Vitalik. AI and quantum resistance should be two of the main priorities rather than Layer 2s. Layer 2s themselves struggle to leverage liquidity across one another, which leads to fragmentation and creates challenges for both UX and liquidity.
Vitalik chose to push the Layer 2 strategy around four years ago, but he has since redirected the Foundation following the departure of several core contributors.
That is also one of the reasons why InterLink did not initially focus heavily on or emphasize Layer 2 solutions.
Looking at the next five years, the foundation of the industry will still be digital assets themselves. The first question is whether those assets can meet strong security standards and remain resistant to quantum threats. Once that foundation is solid, the next question is whether those assets actually have real-world utility.
This is why InterLink is primarily focused on payments and real-world assets.
Getting the direction right from the beginning is extremely important. A single strategic mistake can cost an entire large ecosystem years of time and resources.
Regardless, congratulations to Ethereum and everyone holding $ETH.
Reaching 10 million Linkers is more than just a milestone. It represents millions of people who joined, contributed, and believed in InterLink throughout this journey.
To celebrate this achievement and show our appreciation to the community, InterLink is preparing a special and meaningful gift for eligible Linkers.
To be eligible:
• Registered an InterLink account before August 1, 2026
• Hold a balance of more than 10,000 ITLG
• Have successfully completed Step 1 Verification
Eligible users will receive a special gift dedicated to the community that helped InterLink reach its first 10 million users.
This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
I strongly support this. The Buyback Program is not meant to be a battle of strategy between Linkers and the InterLink Labs core team. It should be a collective effort where we contribute together and help InterLink Labs acquire as much $ITL as possible to give back to and appreciate the first 10 million Linkers.
This also demonstrates InterLink Labs’ commitment to transparency and its compliance with InterLink Foundation rules: if InterLink Labs wants to use $ITL for any event or community initiative, it must acquire the tokens itself rather than relying on tokens from the Foundation.
The key messages I want to convey to @inter_link Labs (@reina_itl , @scott_itlg ) for the InterLink 10M Linkers event:
- Everyone should have the opportunity to own ITL.
- ITL should be used for payments and contribute to the ecosystem, rather than being treated as a speculative asset.
Hi @scott_itlg, I know you’re doing your best and putting a lot of effort into your work. With the 10M Linkers Celebration being such an important milestone, I’d like to suggest two mechanisms:
Instead of having users chase individual metrics without knowing exactly what is required, we should establish clear criteria that guarantee eligibility for at least Migration Round 1. For example, accounts registered within a certain period, a minimum HCS level, and a minimum mining rate could automatically receive 3/3 verification once all requirements are met. This would give Linkers a clear and transparent target to work toward.
Migration Round 2 for users who completed Round 1 should also be accelerated, with priority based on clear criteria. For example, users who fully locked their ITLG in Round 1 as a long-term commitment, users who still maintain an ITL balance after receiving 100% of their migration allocation, or users who have demonstrated strong performance and meaningful contributions to the ecosystem.
I believe these initiatives should be implemented during September as a way to recognize and give back to the Linkers who have remained committed, contributed to the ecosystem, and supported InterLink throughout the journey to 10 million users.
