Even though the @RwandaGov completely bans people from protesting in the streets, angry Rwandan women refuse to stay quiet.

They are using social media to condemn the new @Rwandapolice rules. This is pure harassment and a direct attack on women, forcing them to dress a certain way. This completely breaks the Rwandan Constitution. #Rwanda is not an Islamic state!

This young woman is furiously demanding that @PaulKagame’s regime wake up and face real problems. They must stop the terrible violence against women and the disgusting sexual corruption where women are forced to give sex just to get a job or a basic service.

It is a total joke that the police waste time targeting women wearing shorts at concerts instead of fighting real crimes.

The Rwandan government must stop treating citizens like prisoners. We refuse to live like caged animals in our own country🗣️
