I finally have a man that genuinely cares about my mental health. A man that wants to take me out on his own. A man that provides for me in my times of need. A man that loves me unconditionally. A man that fights for me. A man that is willing to become better for me.
If you think someone is talented: Tell them
If you think someone is funny: Tell them
If you notice someone making improvements: Tell them
Even if they’re a stranger. You never know whose day you’ll make.
Please don’t. Date someone who has a balanced life with friends, family, and work. If you are so consumed with me, I know for a fact that you aren’t tending to your goals and dreams. You can be a present partner and still have something carved out for yourself, it’s so important.
If you want to truly master something you have to restructure your entire life around that one specific thing. It has to become an obsession, something that makes you feel guilty when it’s not being worked on.
Excuses, self pity, & pointing fingers have no place on this journey.
