Heard someone once make a powerful distinction. When things in your life begin to move fast, faster than what is normal or expected, that’s often a sign of God’s hand on your timeline. The idea is that when something is truly from God, it won’t always follow the slow, conventional path. Sometimes His favour accelerates things in a way that does not make sense to people watching from the outside.
That’s why, when it’s finally your turn, everything can shift so quickly that people won’t even understand how it all came together for you in such a short space of time. It’s not coincidence, it’s grace with momentum.
Anyway, each to his own! 🙂↔️
NB! I am in no way imposing my religious opinion on anyway. Just saying. 🙏🏽😭
I thought hitting $800K MRR would change my life.
But you know what actually did?
Hiring a guy from Tanzania and watching his zoom background slowly upgrade as the weeks went by until eventually moved his whole family to Portugal.
No revenue milestone could EVER hit that hard.
I started building companies for the money, for the recognition, and proving something to myself.
But watching that guys actual life transform.
Just because I gave him a shot and he slam dunked it.
That’s what it’s all about.
At the EOD, revenue is just numbers on a screen.
A screenshot to flex for twitter.
But the lives you change and people you empower.
Those are the things you’ll remember when it’s all said and done.
One of my biggest prayers is to get it right with life partnership.
It’s a lot of ups and downs, but you don’t want to do it with a selfish & proud person
Girls remember, Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to win a Nobel Peace Prize, had a husband who publicly demanded she stop using his name after their divorce. She couldn’t. She was already widely known by it. So, she had to creatively add an extra “a” just to keep using it
My condolence message to Mama Ida Odinga and family on the shocking and sad news of the passing of Rt. Hon. @RailaOdinga
I will remember him as a fearless defender of the people, a voice of the voiceless and a steadfast comrade in the fight for the second liberation.
Rest in peace, Kinara Wangu.
You see this life eh, you owe people things. Gratitude, consideration, apologies, patience, care, kindness, food...
So you are owed these things by who *chooses* to be in your life.
Life is hard enough without your help, don't assist to make things harder by living like this.
1. Your friend’s secret
2. Your family drama
3. Your toothbrush
4. Your body count (you can share sexual health status).
5. Your abortion history
6. How badly your ex treated you.
Mini thread;
The dumbest and worst position to be as a woman is to be paying all your bills alone. The best position is to be married to a good man who pays all your bills. Stupid women think paying their own bills is smarter than having a man doing all that and worrying...
