For some reason, I have never looked at these things & felt that I was missing out. I have my small joys that mean a lot to me. I recently discovered an eatery that grills marinated chicken necks. Sells them at 30 bob each. I cannot tell you the profound joy those necks bring me.
I pick almost 20 at a go. I Keep them in the fridge. And I can't wait to get home. Everytime To prep some ugali. And get to work. I didn't sleep at home yesterday because of some work commitments, and all I can think about even this morning,at 5 am, is what I will do when I finally get my hands on those grilled, juicy chicken necks. I'll probably sing a hymn. Like I did last time. Probably do a little dance.
That side of Nairobi may never get to experience the joy of a juicy, grilled chicken neck with a bowl of steaming ugali, and salad. When you are finally alone, without the cameras, and it just feels right. Complete. Alive.
When the right questions are asked ,you'll see how the regime fumbles because there's nothing they do for the benefit of the public, don't ever forget what they did in 2023.
#SisiNdioSifuna
Everyone romanticizes the single life until they're eating alone at 60 with a passport full of stamps and no one to call family. Money loses its thrill, travel becomes routine, and books don't answer back. Marriage or being in a relationship isn't the answer to everything, but neither is solitude. Every life extracts a price, you don't escape it, you only choose how you'll pay.
Let’s address the elephant in the room because I feel like many people don’t want to have this conversation😳
So the plan is to vote for Sifuna simply because he can help get Ruto out? As long as Ruto is gone, then we’re good? Haven’t we been here before? Isn’t that exactly how Ruto benefited from the anger against Uhuru&Raila ?
And before that, wasn’t Uhuru’s victory also driven in part by a wave of sympathy over the ICC cases and the feeling among many supporters that it was time to stand with him and push back against those they believed were targeting him? Look at how Uhuru’s administration left this country? Haven’t we already seen where voting out of anger or emotion, instead of demanding better leadership, leaves this country?
The next election cannot just be about who is most likely to defeat Ruto. It has to be about who has a clear plan to deal with corruption, protect the Constitution, end abductions and extrajudicial killings, fix our broken healthcare system, reform education, create jobs, reduce the cost of living, tackle public debt, restore independent institutions and ensure there is real accountability in government.
I understand the thinking. The common enemy is Ruto, and the enemy of my enemy quickly becomes a friend. But I refuse to believe that after everything this country has been through, Kenyans are ready to settle for people with serious questions hanging over them simply because they are the fastest route to removing one man from power. A perfect example, Aisha Jumwa😂
We cannot keep voting against someone. At some point, we have to start voting for something. Otherwise, we’ll keep changing faces while the system that keeps failing Kenyans remains exactly the same.
Presenter: ata ako hapa anakuskia, Victor umeskia venye George amesema
Victor: Ataniua
Presenter: (laughs)George umeskia hiyo, ndungu yako anasema utamuua
George: Lazima, huyo lazima niue
😂😂😂😂
“Nikutolee receipts uone ame-spend pesa ngapi on me?”
This is a classic case of: if a man has money, the other woman is trying to steal my man VS if a man is broke, he’d have been accused of cheating on her with another woman.
A woman is only loyal to her selfish interests and so -by association- the man is deemed “faithful”😂
Gachagua couldn't capture the entire country well juu alikua anaropoka mrima kila time Na tribal politics zake. Sifuna is sweeping the nation because yeye anasema tu Sisi Ni Sifuna. Hakuna maneno Sisi Ni western.
That's a good candidate.
Sifuna asked Ruto a very simple question
If affordable housing is meant to eradicate slums, there are no slums in Funyula, why are you building apartments?
Ruto answered him "Mimi sio wazimu
The man who was dragging his a** in every village in Kenya calling himself a hustler and calling others dynasty, is today shouting you need billions of shillings to become president
Political amnesia
Nothing is more dangerous than a man who escapes poverty and immediately develops amnesia. The same poor people who made you an MP because they saw their own struggle in you are now apparently an embarrassment, and a modest house has suddenly become something to mock. That promotion did not just change your address Salasya, it instead erased your memory.
Removing this regime means Auditor General reports will spark actual prosecutions rather than being treated as mere suggestions while billions go missing.
Biggest takeaway from Olkalau elections is that if our current government actually wanted to improve the living conditions of its people, it could.
It’s just not a priority for them unless they’re in the face of an election. And that’s something we should never forget.
They have started😂
They already know the numbers won’t be in their favour, so they’ll spend the next few months conditioning Kenyans to believe every crowd is AI, every rally is funded and every show of public support is fake. This is exactly how they’ll try to discredit the will of the people. If they can’t explain the numbers, they’ll manufacture an excuse for them.
At what point do you stop insulting the intelligence of Kenyans and accept that people are capable of making political choices you don’t like? When will some of you learn that not everything is a conspiracy? Sometimes Kenyans simply don’t agree with you. And that’s perfectly okay in a democracy.
WANTAM!!
