I think @Geaney15 should have been thanked for knowing the rules on the pitch here and explaining it to the ref. A free was originally given in error, and Geaney is seen correctly pointing to the penalty spot. There appears to be revisionist history here.
That's a clear penalty for Kerry. O'Driscoll is key. He gets drawn to the ball and leaves Clifford free. Simple pass and simple finish. It's a good goalscoring opportunity without any question. Strange thing is that the rule has existed for a while but is so seldom used
Congrats to Fossa & Rathmore on their deserved wins. Only blot is the speech mentioning refs. No matter how poor you think any ref is, keep the mouth shut. They could be on social media praising the opposition before reffing them (I've seen this happen before), say nothing #gaa

When the organisers embarrass @OfficialCorkGAA by highlighting an attempt by their footballers to break the agreement between the two counties, while also copperfastening PUC going forward so Cork can't pull that stunt again. Sweet. Now to finish the job #upthekingdom
@RolandRogers20 The game would be on in Cork had that happened with Kerry getting the next two home games. Kerry & Cork had, until the Cork footballers whined, an agreement where games would only be held in either PUC or Killarney. Kerry don't need similar agreements with non-Munster counties
